Parent cafés bring parents, families and neighbors together in a safe place to build community. We focus on family strengths, listen to concerns and encourage mutual support among families. We help find solutions and gather information to fill voids in services.
There will be information on: · Child development and milestones · Health care resources · Information on asthma and lead poisoning · Prenatal care and home visitation programs · Childcare · Transportation · Pediatric services · High quality early childhood education · Pre-K assistance · And more!
Parents will meet representatives from 4CS, PMCH and HCPC who will provide first-hand, accurate information to parents.
Healthy food, transportation reimbursement and childcare will be provided at each café.
